An Exotic Travel Photography Tour of Pakistan

Join award winning Australian photographer, Andrea Francolini, for a once-in-a-lifetime inaugural travel photography tour of Pakistan.

Group of 4-6 people max – US$7700 per person all inclusive – except return flights to Pakistan, visa and personal expenses

The Itinerary

22 April 2019

Every one arrives in Islamabad and meets at the hotel for an overall introduction of the tour and to meet other members of the Pakistan photo holiday.

Depending on the arrival time either your Australian travel photographer, Andrea Francolini, or Adam Khan, director of Travel Life Pakistan, will pick you up at the airport.

23 April 2019

Morning: we visit Raja Bazaar one of the biggest local markets in Rawalpindi.


Afternoon: visit of folk museum

Late afternoon/sunset: at Monument of Pakistan.

Dinner: Monal Restaurant at the view of Islamabad



24 April 2019

Morning: Raja bazaar (again, its a very big place)

Faisal mosque.


Afternoon: Local market in Islamabad 

DAY 4 : Islamabad / Gilgit/Hunza
25 April 2019

Fly from Islamabad to Gilgit.

An early flight to Gilgit (elevation 2228m – north east of Pakistan).

This flight will take us over the breath taking Himalaya mountain range.

Hotel check-in at Serena hotel Hunza

Lunch:  Baltit fort in Hunza.

Sunset: at Eagle’s Nest overlooking Hunza valley

Dinner/night: Eagle’s Nest



DAY 5 : Hunza / Nagar Valley

Sunrise: Eagle’s Nest overlooking Hunza valley

All day trip to Hopper glacier. Walk to the glacier

Dinner/night: Serena Hunza valley


DAY 6 : Drive along Karakorham highway
27 April 2019

DAY 7 : Gilgit / Islamabad

Morning flight from Gilgit-Islamabad

Check-in Pearl Continental hotel in Rawalpindi

Lunch: hotel and time to edit

Afternoon: Faisal mosque

Sunset (depending on where we are)

Early morning drive to Lahore (6hr drive)

Along the way: visit Hindu temple

Hotel check-in Peal Continental and lunch



30 April 2019

Morning: half day off to swim by the pool and relax, edit images or visit local markets.

Lunch: together

Afternoon Wagah flag ceremony on Indian boarder

Dinner: Kinara Restaurant.

1 May 2019

Early morning: Waszir Khan Mosque, a 17th century mosque.

and visit of Royal Bath which is the only surviving public bath from the Mughal Era


Afternoon: Lahore Fort. This fort was completed in 1566 when Lahore was the capital of the country.

Dinner at Food street


2nd May 2019

Morning: traditional wrestling or walk in the streets of Larhori Gate

Truck Art yard: huge outdoor area full of local mechanics,

artists and anyone working in the trucking industry which is the main means of transportation for goods around the country. This is a great opportunity for portraits and daily life


Afternoon: we catch up on the program in case there were delays the previous days or more market exploring


Sunrise: Visit to Minar Pakistan or Shalimar Gardens

Back to Hotel for breakfast

Mid morning: Spare part market. This market only sells spare parts for cars, trucks and motorbikes.

Lunch at MM Alam road

Afternoon free to pack or local markets

Early dinner and transfer to hotel to fly home.

Late evening – international departures from Lahore

(be aware when booking your flight you leave Sydney on Oct 7th, arrive in Islamabad on Oct 7th at night and will leave from Lahore Friday Oct 18 night arriving in Sydney on Saturday 19th) .
